Theresa Twachtmann to join the Executive Board of HafenCity Hamburg GmbH

The Supervisory Board of HafenCity Hamburg GmbH and the Senate Commission for Public Companies agreed June 2021 to appoint Theresa Twachtmann to the Executive Board of HafenCity Hamburg GmbH. Ms Twachtmann will take up her appointment in the fourth quarter of 2021, taking over from Giselher Schultz-Berndt who is retiring.

Amerigo Vespucci Platz now open

Since Saturday, June 5, 2021, Amerigo Vespucci Square in the Elbbrücken neighborhood has been open for the public to stroll around, explore and just spend time. Visitors can expect a vivid open-air exhibition on the building of HafenCity’s largest square, including interesting information and background on the whole of this easternmost HafenCity quarter with its many exciting building projects. Its multimedia complement is an online exhibition on hafencity.com.

HafenCity Infocenter in the Kesselhaus: open again since May 18

The Kesselhaus Infocenter reopens to the public Thursday, May 18, 2021 in line with the City of Hamburg’s current Covid-19 containment ordinance. Visitors must register in advance. The general hygiene regulations apply. Guided tours of HafenCity will be offered again, subject to conditions, from Monday, June

HafenCity Hamburg GmbH: New headquarters unveiled

HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is an active proponent of new paths in planning, building and managing buildings and even whole neighborhoods that take sustainability, the climate and resource-saving construction into account integrally. Its new company headquarters is adopting one of the most sustainable building concepts in Europe and sparking learning processes for emission-neutral construction.
